The Bright Tangerine Canon C400 Top Plate Filler Piece is a modular camera rigging part for Canon C400 owners who want a flatter top section and more mounting options. It suits users building a shoulder rig, top handle setup, or accessory-heavy camera build. It replaces the original Canon C400 top handle and works with the Bright Tangerine C400 Top Plate System and D-Style Master Handle.
It provides multiple 3/8-16 and 1/4-20 threads for mounting accessories, with 3 x 1/4-20 screws included for attachment. The filler piece is made from aluminium and stainless steel, finished in black, and weighs 5 oz / 143 g. Its compact size is 13.8 x 8.2 x 1.1 cm, so it adds rigging points without making the camera bulky.
In practice, it is used together with the Canon C400 Top Plate to create a more usable flat surface for handles and other accessories. It is compatible with the Canon C400 Cinema Camera and pairs with the Bright Tangerine Canon C400 Top Plate System B4005.1030 and D-Style Master Handle B4003.1049.
