Description
The Blackmagic PYXIS 12K Cinema Camera is a body only digital cinema camera for productions that need a full frame image, a compact build and flexible lens support. It suits filmmakers, crews and content makers who want a camera that can handle studio work, run and gun shoots and controlled production setups with an active Leica L mount.
It uses a large format full frame 12K sensor with 16 stops of dynamic range. It records Blackmagic RAW up to 12K 3:2 open gate and includes a built in optical low pass filter. The camera has two CFexpress card slots, a USB-C port and compact side plates that can be changed to suit rigging.
In use, it pairs with Leica L mount lenses and compatible adapters for other lenses that fit the mount system. The body can be built out with accessories using the supplied standard mounting plate and SSD mounting plate. In the box are the camera body, lens mount cap, PYXIS standard mounting plate, PYXIS SSD mounting plate, a 90W power supply with international adapters and a DaVinci Resolve Studio activation key.
