Description
The RØDE PSA1+ Studio Boom Arm is a desk-mounted microphone arm for podcasting, streaming and voice recording setups. It suits users who want to position a microphone close to the speaker and move it into place without desk clutter. The arm is designed for microphones and shock mounts with a standard thread and a weight between 94g and 1.2kg.
It has a parallelogram spring design for controlled placement, fully damped springs for quiet movement, and integrated cable management for USB and XLR cables. The arm offers a horizontal reach of 940mm and a vertical reach of 860mm. It measures 65mm wide, 940mm high and 100mm deep, and weighs 1.52kg. Thread options are 3/8 or 5/8 with the included adaptor.
In use, the PSA1+ clamps to a desk or uses the threaded desk mount for a fixed setup. It can be paired with microphones such as the NT-USB Mini, PodMic, Procaster, Podcaster, Broadcaster and other compatible RØDE microphones and shock mounts within the supported weight range. The box includes the studio boom arm, 3/8 to 5/8 adaptor, desk mount clamp and threaded desk mount.
