Description
The Radial ProRMP is a passive re-amping box for recording setups that need to send a recorded signal back through guitar amps or pedals. It suits players, engineers and home studios that want to shape a track again after recording, without adding a powered device in the signal path.
It uses a transformer isolated passive circuit and takes one XLR input, then sends signal out through one 1/4 inch TS phone output. The recessed output control lets you fine tune level, while the ground lift switch helps reduce hum and buzz from ground loops. Frequency response is 20Hz to 20kHz, plus or minus 0.12dB.
In practice, it sits between a recorder or interface and a guitar amp or pedal chain. It is designed for prerecorded tracks that need to be played back through external gear and recorded again. The box measures 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 x 1 3/4 inches and weighs 1.1 lb. The box includes the Radial Engineering Reamp ProRMP Passive Re-Amplyfing Box.
