Description
The DZOFilm VESPID 12mm T2.8 Prime Lens is a wide-angle cine lens for filmmakers who need a compact 12mm prime for full-frame or Vista Vision work. It suits productions that want a very wide field of view and a manual cinema lens with PL and Canon EF compatibility.
It has a fixed 12mm focal length and a maximum aperture of T2.8. The optical design includes two aspherical elements, and the lens is built for Vista Vision large-format sensors. Its PL mount can be used with the included Canon EF mount, giving it flexibility across compatible cinema cameras.
In practice, this lens is used for wide establishing shots, interiors and scenes where a broad view is needed. It pairs with cameras that accept PL or Canon EF mounts and supports Vista Vision and full-frame style shooting. The box includes the DZOFilm VESPID 12mm T2.8 Prime Lens, a front lens cap and a rear lens cap.
