Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1/4 Filter (49mm)

Description

The Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1/4 Filter is a 49 mm screw-on diffusion filter for photographers and filmmakers who want a softer image with less contrast. It suits portraits, beauty work and video where you want highlights controlled and facial detail softened without removing the overall character of the shot.

It uses glass filter material with an aluminium ring and Tiffen's ColorCore technology. The 1/4 grade gives a moderate mist effect, reducing highlights and lowering contrast while creating a softer quality of light. The front accessory thread is 49 mm, and the filter has top knurling for easier handling.

It fits lenses with a 49 mm filter thread and is used by screwing it directly onto the lens. It pairs well with portrait and video lenses where a subtle diffusion effect is wanted. The box includes one Tiffen 49mm Black Pro-Mist 1/4 Filter.
