Description
The Tiffen 77mm Variable Neutral Density Filter is a screw-in ND filter for photographers and filmmakers who want adjustable control over exposure without changing filters. It suits stills and video work where you need to manage shutter speed or create motion blur and shallower depth of field. The rotating ring lets you dial in the amount of light reduction to suit the shot.
It offers a variable density range from ND 0.6 to ND 2.4, which is 2 to 8 stops of light control. The filter is circular, 77 mm in diameter, and 9 mm thick. It uses glass construction with no coatings and has an unthreaded front, so it does not accept front-mounted accessories.
