Description
The Sony FE 24-105mm f/4 G OSS Lens is a full-frame zoom lens for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. It suits photographers who want one lens for travel, events, landscapes and general use, with a range that moves from wide angle to short telephoto. The constant f/4 aperture keeps exposure consistent through the zoom range.
It covers 24-105mm with a 84° to 23° angle of view, a minimum focus distance of 38 cm and 0.31x magnification. Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation and autofocus are built in. The lens uses 17 elements in 14 groups, including 4 aspherical elements and 3 ED elements, and has 9 rounded diaphragm blades. It weighs 663 g, measures about 83.4 x 113.3 mm, and takes 77 mm filters.
It is designed for Sony E-mount full-frame cameras, and also suits 35mm film and full-frame digital bodies. In use, it gives a practical all-round focal range for handheld shooting and can be paired with standard 77 mm filters. The box includes the lens, a 77 mm front lens cap, rear lens cap, lens case and lens hood.
