Description
The SmallRig 2280 Quick Release Clamp and Plate is an Arca-type compatible quick release set for mirrorless and DSLR cameras. It suits users who want a compact plate and clamp setup for moving a camera between supports with less effort.
It measures 68 x 50 x 14 mm and weighs 72 g. The aluminium alloy construction keeps it light while still giving it a solid feel in a small footprint. The base has multiple 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 threaded holes and through holes for mounting to tripods or other platforms.
In use, the plate attaches to a SmallRig cage or the camera tripod socket, then drops into the clamp and tightens with the knob screw. It pairs with Arca-type compatible supports and other tripod systems that accept the threaded base. The box includes the clamp and plate, plus a hex spanner.
