Description
The Manfrotto 501PL Sliding Quick Release Plate is a compact mounting plate for users who need a secure, repeatable way to attach a camera to a compatible video head. It suits operators using Manfrotto 501, 503 or NG heads, and it is designed for setups where quick removal and reattachment matter.
It uses the RC5 quick release system and is made from aluminium. The plate measures 3.54 x 0.43 inches, or 8.99 x 1.09 cm, and weighs 0.2 lb, or 0.1 kg. It has 1x 1/4-20 male mounting, plus a 1/4-20 female to 3/8-16 male adapter. It has no strap loop, quick disconnect system or bubble level.
In use, the plate stays fitted to the camera and slides into a compatible Manfrotto head for mounting. It pairs with 501, 503 and NG heads that use the RC5 quick release system, and it replaces part #3433PL. In the box are the 501PL plate, a 1/4-20 camera tie-down, and a 1/4-20 to 3/8-16 adapter bushing.
