Description
The Hoya 82mm UX II UV Filter is a UV protection filter for lenses with an 82mm filter thread. It suits photographers who want basic front element protection while reducing ultraviolet light and maintaining natural daylight colour. The aluminium frame keeps the filter lightweight and practical for regular use.
This filter uses an anti-reflection coating and a water-repellent coating to help reduce flare and make cleaning easier. It is designed to increase light transmittance while suppressing the UV spectrum. The 82mm diameter suits lenses that take 82mm filters, and the aluminium frame gives it a straightforward, durable build for everyday camera work.
In practice, the filter sits on the front of a compatible lens to provide protection during shooting and storage. It pairs with lenses that accept 82mm filters, including stills and video lenses with the same thread size. The box includes one Hoya 82mm UX II UV Filter.
