Description
The Hosa YMP-434 is a short stereo breakout cable for linking a device with a 3.5 mm TRS output to two separate 1/4 in TS inputs. It suits mixers, audio interfaces and other gear that needs left and right stereo channels carried on separate mono plugs. The cable is built for simple signal splitting, with black and red coding to help identify each side.
It has a 3.5 mm female connector on one end and dual 1/4 in mono male plugs on the other. The cable is 6 in long, or 0.15 m, which keeps the run compact between closely placed devices. The two mono phone plugs are colour coded, with black for one channel and red for the other, so channel routing is easy to follow.
In practice, it is used when a source device with a 3.5 mm stereo output needs to feed two 1/4 in TS inputs separately. It pairs with devices and equipment that accept dual 1/4 in TS connections. The cable is supplied as the Y-cable assembly, with no additional box contents stated.
