Description
Hosa HMP-006Y is a 6 ft breakout cable for linking a device with a 3.5 mm stereo output to gear with dual 1/4 inch mono inputs. It suits portable players, laptops and similar audio sources when you need to feed left and right signals into pro audio equipment.
It uses a 1/8 inch 3.5 mm TRS male connector at one end and two 1/4 inch TS male connectors at the other. The cable is 1.83 m long, uses 24 AWG oxygen free copper conductors, and includes 90% OFC spiral shielding. The connectors are nickel plated REAN types.
In practice, it is used as a stereo split connection for mixers, audio interfaces and other equipment with separate unbalanced 1/4 inch inputs. It pairs with devices that provide a 3.5 mm stereo headphone or line output.
