Description
The DZOFilm VESPID 25mm T2.1 is a manual cine prime for full frame production work. It suits filmmakers who want a compact 25mm lens with cine-style controls for narrative, documentary, or run-and-gun shooting on compatible cinema cameras.
It offers a T2.1 to T22 aperture range, a 46.5 mm image circle, 16 iris blades, and 270° focus rotation. The lens uses 0.8 MOD / 32 pitch gearing on both focus and iris, has an 80 mm front diameter, a 77 mm filter thread, and weighs 940 g.
In practice, it works with PL mount cinema setups and can be converted for EF use with the supplied tool kit. It has metric and imperial focus scales, no electronic communication, and a minimum focus distance of 0.3 m from the image plane. The box includes the lens, front cap, rear cap, and EF mount tool kit.
