Description
The Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio HD Mini is a compact video recorder and playback deck for SD, HD and up to 2K DCI work. It suits users who need a small deck for recording, playback or live output in a studio, on location or in a rack. Its main job is to capture and play back video through SDI, HDMI and USB-C while keeping sync and timecode available.
It has 1 x 3G-SDI input, 1 x 3G-SDI output, 1 x HDMI Type A output and 1 x USB-C connection for webcam use or external recording of SD, HD and 2K DCI. It also includes 2 SD card slots, timecode in and out, and reference in and out. Recording supports 4:2:2 YUV at 10-bit colour depth, with auto detection of SD and HD.
In practice, it can be used with cameras, switchers, monitors and edit systems that accept SDI or HDMI connections. It is also set up for remote operation over Ethernet and deck control over RS-422. The box includes the Blackmagic Design HyperDeck Studio HD Mini and a software CD.
