How many sandbags do I need?

One per stand as a minimum, two on any stand carrying a boom or a large modifier, and more outdoors.

Baby or junior pin?

Baby (5/8 inch) is the standard on light stands and most lights. Junior (1-1/8 inch) is for heavy fixtures and combo stands. Adapters convert between them.
