Description
The Meike 85mm T2.1 Full-Frame Prime Cine Lens is a manual-focus short telephoto lens for Sony E mount cameras. It suits video work where controlled focus, consistent cine handling and a full-frame field of view matter. The 85mm focal length is useful for interviews, portraits and tighter framed shots, with a design aimed at production use rather than stills shooting.
It has a T2.1 to T22 aperture range, an 11-blade iris and a 45mm image circle for full-frame sensor coverage. The lens uses 14 elements in 8 groups, has a 330 degree focus rotation and 0.8 mod gearing. It also includes an 82mm filter thread and focus marks in feet and metres for repeatable manual operation.
In practice, this lens pairs with Sony E mount cine or video cameras and manual focus accessories that use standard 0.8 gear pitch. It is a prime lens, so it is suited to a fixed 85mm viewpoint rather than zooming. The box includes the Meike 85mm T2.1 Full-Frame Prime Cine Lens (E-Mount, Feet/Meters).
