Description
The Tiffen 77mm UV Protector Filter is a circular UV filter for lenses with a 77 mm front thread. It suits photographers who want a simple protective filter that can stay on the lens during everyday shooting. It helps absorb ultraviolet light, reduces the bluish cast of daylight, and adds a layer of protection to the front element without changing exposure.
It has a filter factor of 1, which means 0 stop exposure change. The filter is 77 mm in diameter and uses Tiffen ColorCore technology. Its UV filter design is intended for general use, so it can be left in place while shooting in daylight. The circular shape and 77 mm front accessory thread make it easy to match with compatible lenses.
In practice, it screws onto a 77 mm lens thread and is used as a clear protective filter for day-to-day shooting. It pairs with lenses that accept 77 mm filters.
