Description
The Tascam Model 12 is an integrated production mixer, recorder and USB interface for people who want hands-on control for music recording, podcasting or small production setups. It suits users who need a compact desk with multichannel input, onboard recording and computer connectivity in one unit.
It has 10 input channels, 8 microphone preamps and 10 line inputs made up of 6 mono and 2 stereo channels. The mixer includes a single-knob compressor, MIDI I/O, metronome and click output. As a USB interface it supports Windows and Mac systems, and the master section includes hi-shelving and low-shelving EQ with ±15 dB adjustment.
In use, it can connect to a computer for recording and playback, or work with external MIDI gear such as drum machines, synthesisers and hardware sequencers. It runs from the included power supply and comes with the Tascam Model 12 Integrated Production Suite Mixer/Recorder/USB Interface and power supply.
