The Pelican 1535 Air Carry-On Case with Foam is a wheeled hard case for transporting camera, audio or production gear that needs rigid protection and a fitted foam interior. It suits people who carry compact kits and want a case that can handle travel, storage and rough handling while keeping contents organised. The carry-on sized format also suits trips where a smaller rolling case is easier to manage.
It measures 51.8 x 28.4 x 18.3 cm inside and 55.8 x 35.5 x 22.8 cm outside. The case weighs 3.9 kg empty and 4.5 kg with foam. It has a watertight O-ring gasket, ABS double throw latches, a purge vent, and a body made from a proprietary polypropylene blend. The case is dustproof, crushproof and rated from -51 C to 71 C.
In practice, the pick-n-pluck foam lets you shape the interior around cameras, lenses, microphones or other small accessories that fit within the available space. It rolls on wheels and has a padlock hole diameter of 0.8 cm for added security. The box includes the Pelican 1535 Air Case in black with foam.
