Description
The Pelican 1450 Case is a hard protective case for carrying camera gear, audio accessories, lighting parts or other small equipment that needs protection from knocks, dust and moisture. It suits users who want a compact case with foam inside so equipment can be packed to size and kept separated during transport.
It measures 37.2 x 26 x 15.5 cm internally and 41.8 x 33 x 17.3 cm externally, with 1.75 in lid depth and 4.37 in bottom depth. The case is watertight, crushproof and dustproof, with an automatic pressure equalisation valve, stainless steel hardware, easy-open double throw latches and a rubber over-moulded handle. It is made from ultra high impact structural copolymer and weighs 2.9 kg with foam.
In use, the foam insert can be shaped around cameras, lenses, microphones or small accessories that fit within the internal space. The case pairs well with equipment that benefits from padded, rigid storage and transport. In the box are a 3-piece foam set, an egg crate foam upper section, a Pick 'N' Pluck foam section and a blank bottom foam section.
