Description
PageFlip Firefly is a programmable digital page turner pedal for musicians and readers who want hands free control of scores, documents and similar content. It suits people who use a computer or tablet while keeping both hands on an instrument or other task. It works with foot taps rather than hand scrolling, and can be used in wired or wireless setups.
It offers Bluetooth 3.0 wireless operation or USB-C wired connection, with five pedal modes that can be set to PageUp/Dn, Left/Right arrows, Up/Down arrows, Left/Right mouse click, or Space/Enter. The five preset modes can be reprogrammed with proprietary Windows software. Power comes from 2 AA batteries or a USB-C cable, and battery life is listed at up to 200 hours of continuous turning or about 200,000 page turns.
In use, the pedal pairs with computers and tablets running Windows, Mac, iOS, Android or Linux, depending on the setup being used. It enters sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity and wakes within about 3 seconds when a pedal is pressed. The box contains the PageFlip Firefly digital page turner pedal.
