Description
The Nitecore UM4 is a four-slot USB-C charger for people who use a mix of rechargeable batteries and want independent charging in one unit. It suits users with Li-ion, IMR, Ni-MH or Ni-Cd cells who need to charge several batteries at once without combining them into a single bank.
It charges up to four batteries simultaneously with independent slot control. Input is DC 5V/2A or 9V/2A, up to 18W, and it supports QC input. Maximum output is 1,500mA in a single slot, with up to 1,500mA x2 or 750mA x4 in QC mode, and 1,500mA x1, 1,000mA x2 or 500mA x4 in standard mode. It automatically detects battery power level and supports 4.35V, 4.2V, 3.7V and 1.48V charging.
In practice, the UM4 works with Li-ion and IMR cells, plus Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries in AA, AAA, AAAA, C and D sizes. It measures 159mm x 107mm x 41mm and weighs 232.8g. The box includes the NITECORE UM4 Intelligent USB Four-Slot Charger.
