Description
The NiSi Macro Focusing Rail NM-180s is a compact focusing rail for macro and close-up work. It suits photographers who need fine camera-to-subject adjustment for subjects such as product details, insects, flowers, or copy work. The rail helps place the camera accurately without moving the tripod setup, and the 360 degree rotating clamp gives extra flexibility when changing camera orientation.
It has an 18cm rail length with 16cm travel, a 5kg load capacity, and hard anodised aluminium construction. The rail weighs about 0.5kg. The Arca-type quick release clamp rotates 360 degrees, and the collapsible thumb-screw knob allows controlled movement. It also includes 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 tripod mounting options, plus a removable foot.
In use, the rail mounts to an Arca-type tripod head or directly to compatible tripod threads, then the camera or lens is positioned with small, repeatable adjustments. It pairs well with macro lenses and other close-up setups.
