Description
The Leofoto BC-01 Binocular Adapter is a compact mounting accessory for holding binoculars on a tripod or monopod. It suits birdwatching, wildlife observation and other outdoor viewing where steady hands-free use is useful. The adapter is designed for binoculars with a 30 to 70 mm barrel diameter, so it suits a broad range of full-size binoculars without adding much bulk.
It uses an Arca-Swiss dovetail for direct attachment to compatible heads, and also includes 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 mounting threads for other setups. The clamping range is 3 to 7 cm, and the adapter is built from 6061-T6 aluminium. It measures 47 x 42 x 38 mm and weighs 73 g, which keeps it small and light in use.
In practice, it clamps to the binocular body and then mounts to a tripod, ball head or monopod with the appropriate interface. It pairs with Arca-Swiss compatible tripod heads as well as support systems that use 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 threads. The box includes the Leofoto BC-01 Binocular Adapter.
