Elgato Prompter XL

Description

Elgato Prompter XL is a teleprompter for presenters, streamers and video creators who want a larger reading area for camera work. It suits mirrorless, DSLR and studio camera setups, and it also works as a spare monitor when not used as a teleprompter. The 15.6-inch display and glass beamsplitter help keep text visible while you stay looking into the lens.

It uses a 15.6-inch Full HD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 600 nits brightness. The detachable monitor connects by a single USB-C cable and draws 15 W. The unit uses glass beamsplitter material, has no self reversing, and is designed for use with macOS 13 or later, Windows 11 or later, or Android only for mobile control.

In practice, the Prompter XL sits in front of the camera and lets you read scripts while maintaining eye line. It works with the Camera Hub app, Voice Sync and Twitch integration. In the box are the Prompter XL, detachable monitor, beamsplitter glass, camera bracket, universal baseplate, ring backplate, and step-up rings for 49mm, 52mm, 55mm and 58mm lenses.
