Description
The DZOFilm VESPID 40mm T2.1 is a manual full-frame cine prime for filmmakers who want a natural perspective for narrative, documentary or gimbal work. It suits cameras that use PL or EF mounts and gives a compact option for production setups where a 40mm lens is a useful general-purpose focal length.
It opens to T2.1 and stops down to T22, with a 16-blade iris for controlled aperture changes. The lens covers full-frame sensors with a 46.5 mm image circle, uses 0.8 MOD focus and iris gearing, and offers 270° focus rotation and 64° iris rotation. It also has metric and imperial focus scales, a 77 mm filter thread, an 80 mm front diameter and a weight of 980 g.
