Description
The Atomos Shinobi II is a 5.2-inch camera monitor for shooters who want a bright external screen with touch control, exposure tools and camera control in a compact body. It suits vloggers, photographers and filmmakers who need a monitor for framing, focus and exposure checks while working on camera rigs or lightweight setups.
It has a 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 capacitive touchscreen with 1500 nit brightness, HDR support and AtomHDR mode. Monitoring tools include waveform, histogram, vectorscope, frame guides and a 9-grid. The monitor weighs 210g, measures 151mm x 91.5mm x 20.8mm, uses passive cooling, and runs from NPF L series batteries or USB-C PD power. It has one bottom 1/4-20 mount point with anti-rotational points.
In practice, it works as an on-camera display for HDMI shooting and USB-C camera control. It can be powered by an optional battery eliminator with DC in, or by D-Tap with the right cable. The box includes the monitor, a USB-C 2.0 cable, and an HDMI plus USB-C locking cable adapter.
