Description
The amaran Octa Dome 120 is a 120cm octagonal softbox for photographers and videographers who want a large, soft light source with a quick setup. It suits studio work, portrait lighting and video shoots where a broad, even spread of light is needed. The 8-sided shape helps produce a rounder catchlight than a square modifier.
It has a built size of 51.0 x 12.0 x 120.0cm and folds down to 88.0 x 25.0 x 6.5cm. The diffusion cloth diameter is 120cm, the inner baffle diffusion diameter is 79cm and the light control grid diameter is 108cm. It weighs 1.2kg and uses a foldable speed ring with a universal Bowens mount.
In use, it attaches to Bowens mount fixtures and folds away for transport in the included carrying bag. It works with amaran COB lights and other Bowens mount lights. The box includes the Octa Dome 120, a 1.5 stop diffusion cloth, inner baffle diffusion, light control grid and carrying bag.
