Description
The 7Artisans EF-SE is an autofocus adapter for using Canon EF and EF-S lenses on Sony E mount cameras. It suits photographers and video users who want to keep using existing Canon lenses while gaining electronic lens control on a Sony body.
It supports electronic communication between lens and camera, so autofocus and aperture control are available through the adapter. It also supports image stabilisation and transfers lens Exif metadata to the camera. Gold-plated copper electronic contacts are used, and the integrated tripod mount has a 1/4-20 female thread. The adapter measures about 71.0 x 31.0 mm.
In practice, it sits between a Canon EF or EF-S lens and a Sony E mount camera body. It is intended for EF/EF-S lenses paired with Sony E mount cameras. In the box are the adapter, a camera body cap, a lens cap and a hex wrench.
