About the Wireless Video Accessories range

Start with the connection and power requirements of your equipment. For cables and adaptors, match the connector on each end, signal type, supported resolution and required cable length. BNC, HDMI, USB and network connections are not interchangeable, and an adaptor does not convert every signal. For battery plates, check the battery format, output ports, voltage and mounting method. V-Lock plates may be mounting-only, with no electronics or power outputs. For antennas, match the frequency, connector, polarity and whether the product is intended for transmitting or receiving equipment.

Check the exact transmitter, receiver, monitor or camera model before ordering. Antennas may use different connectors, including SMA variants that look similar but are not interchangeable. This range is organised into Battery Plates, Cables & Adaptors and Wireless Video Antennas, with general Wireless Video Accessories for compatible mounting and replacement parts. Review the product page for model-specific compatibility and dispatch time.

Wireless Video Accessories questions

Will a V-Mount battery plate power my camera?

Not necessarily. Some plates only secure a V-Mount battery to a rig and have no electronics or power outputs. Others provide D-Tap, DC or camera-specific connections. Check the plate outputs, voltage and connector type against your camera or accessory before buying.

Are SMA and RP-SMA antenna connectors interchangeable?

No. SMA and RP-SMA can look similar while using different pin and socket arrangements. Match the connector type on the antenna to the transmitter or receiver, and check the required frequency and impedance. Do not force a connector that does not fit correctly.

What should I check before buying a wireless video cable or adaptor?

Confirm both connector types, the signal format, supported resolution and frame rate, cable length and the input or output direction where relevant. HDMI, SDI, USB and network connections serve different purposes. An adaptor may change the physical connector without converting the signal.
