About Panasonic

The AG-CX350 uses a 1.0-type MOS sensor with 15.03 megapixels behind a 20x optical zoom lens covering 24.5 to 490 mm in 35 mm terms, with an aperture of f/2.8 to f/4.5 and 5-axis hybrid stabilisation. It records UHD up to 60p in 10-bit HEVC and offers 10-bit 4:2:2 ALL-Intra at 400 Mbps, alongside AVCHD and P2 MXF formats. It has two card slots taking microP2 or SDXC UHS-II cards, two XLR inputs with switchable line, mic and +48 V, SDI and HDMI outputs, and live streaming over RTMP, RTMPS and SRT, plus NDI|HX.

The AG-CX350 suits event, news and corporate shooters who want a fixed zoom, proper audio inputs and streaming from one body. Panasonic supplies it with an AG-VBR59 battery and the AG-BRD50 dual charger, so a spare AG-VBR59 is the simplest way to extend shooting time. The AG-VBR59 is rated at 7.28 V and 5,900 mAh, weighs about 230 g and is designed for the AG-DVX200 and AJ-PX270. The AG-BRD50 charges the AG-VBR118, AG-VBR89 and AG-VBR59. For long days, budget for UHS-II SDXC cards that match your chosen codec's data rate.

Panasonic questions

Does the Panasonic 7.28V 43Wh battery fit the AG-CX350?

Yes. The battery we sell is the 5,900 mAh AG-VBR59 type, and Panasonic lists the AG-VBR59 as the battery for the AG-CX350. Panasonic also designed it for the AG-DVX200 and AJ-PX270 camcorders.

What memory cards does the Panasonic AG-CX350 use?

It has two slots that take microP2 cards or SDXC UHS-II cards, and Panasonic supports simultaneous or relay recording across both. Match the card speed to the codec you plan to use, since 10-bit ALL-Intra recording runs at 400 Mbps.

Can the AG-CX350 live stream without an encoder?

Panasonic lists built-in streaming over RTMP, RTMPS and SRT, plus NDI|HX, which Panasonic's US page notes needs a licence. Streaming runs over the camera's gigabit Ethernet port or an optional wireless module. Check your streaming platform's supported protocol before the shoot.
