About Elinchrom
The D-Lite RX 4 is a monolight with 400Ws of power, adjustable across five stops from 25Ws, with recycling from 0.35 to 1.2 seconds and a 100W modelling lamp on an E27 fitting. A built-in Skyport receiver offers eight frequencies and four groups, with Elinchrom listing up to 60 metres indoors and 120 metres outdoors, so heads can be fired and adjusted from a compatible transmitter. The accessory holder fits the 21cm reflector to take barn doors or filters, and the internal diffuser softens light inside the Midi-Octa by about one stop.
Elinchrom reflectors and softboxes use Elinchrom's own mount, so they fit Elinchrom heads directly and need an adaptor for other brands. Check you have the 21cm reflector before ordering the holder, and the 53 inch Midi-Octa before ordering its diffuser. For wireless control, pair the RX head with a Skyport-compatible transmitter for your camera. A 400Ws head covers portraits and small product sets; for large groups or bright sun, you may need more heads or more power.

It sits inside the softbox between the flash and the front diffusion panel, spreading the light more evenly and reducing hot spots on the front panel. It costs about one stop of light output, so allow for that when setting flash power.
Will Elinchrom light shapers fit other brands of flash?
Elinchrom reflectors and softboxes use Elinchrom's own mount, so they fit Elinchrom heads directly. Using them on other brands generally needs a mount adaptor, and the fit and light spread may differ. Check your flash head's mount before ordering accessories.
