The DELTA 2 Max has a 2048Wh lithium iron phosphate battery, expandable to 6144Wh with extra batteries, and 2400W of AC output, or up to 3100W for suitable appliances with EcoFlow's X-Boost. EcoFlow lists 80 percent charge in 53 minutes from AC and a full charge in 2.3 hours from 1000W of solar. The RIVER 3 Max is a lighter unit at 8.4kg, with 572Wh of capacity, three AC outlets sharing 600W, and a switchover time under 10ms for use as an uninterruptible supply.
Pick by load and portability. The RIVER 3 Max suits laptops, camera batteries, LED lights and routers, and is easy to carry to set. The DELTA 2 Max handles higher-draw gear and longer runtimes, but is much heavier. EcoFlow rates both batteries for 3000 cycles to 80 percent capacity. The RIVER 3 Max is a RIVER 3 Plus paired with an extra battery. EcoFlow Australia's warranty policy gives 24 months standard plus 36 months when the product is registered, five years in total.
