Description
This battery and dual USB charger kit suits Sony camera users who want a simple way to carry spares and recharge them from USB power. It includes two NP-BX1 batteries and a charger for cameras and devices that use the Sony NP-BX1 or NP-BX1/M8 battery format. The kit is practical for travel, long shooting days and backup power.
Each battery uses lithium-ion cells with a 3.6V rating and 1600mAh capacity. The charger takes a 5V USB input, with 2000mA recommended, and outputs 750mA to each battery when charging two at once. The batteries use Grade A cells and the charger can charge two batteries simultaneously from any USB source. It is also designed to work with Sony original batteries and the original charger.
In practice, the charger connects to a USB power source, then charges both batteries together. It is compatible with Sony NP-BX1 and NP-BX1/M8 batteries, including Sony original batteries. The box contains 2 batteries and 1 dual USB charger, so there is enough to keep one battery in the camera and one ready to go.
