Description
The Vortex Defender Flip Cap Eyepiece is a scope cover for Vortex riflescopes with an eyepiece outside diameter between 40 and 46 mm. It suits shooters who want a cap that stays out of the way while still covering the ocular lens when the scope is not in use.
It has three stop positions, so the cap can be set upright, part open or folded flat. The outside diameter range is 1.57 to 1.81 inches, or 40 to 46 mm. It is designed to fit most Vortex riflescopes.
This eyepiece cap is used on the rear of a compatible riflescope and pairs with Vortex riflescopes that match the size range. It fits most Vortex riflescopes, but not the 1-inch tube Viper models VPR-M-01BDC, VPR-M-04BDC and VPR-M-03BDC, or the Viper HS 4-16x44 models VHS-4305 and VHS-4304. In the box is one Vortex Defender Flip Cap Eyepiece.
