Description
The Vortex Crossfire HD 12-36x50 Angled Spotting Scope is a compact angled spotting scope for field observation, range use and general target viewing. It suits users who want a lighter scope that is easier to hold on a tripod and more comfortable to use from a seated position. The angled body makes it easier to look through for longer periods without changing stance.
It offers 12-36x magnification with a 50mm objective lens, a 3.3° to 1.7° angular field of view and a 173' to 89' linear field of view at 1000 yards. Eye relief is 18.0mm, close focus is 4.2m, and the scope measures 25cm long and weighs 850g. The HD optical system, fully multi-coated lenses and nitrogen gas purging are intended to support clear viewing in the field.
In practice, this scope is meant to be used on a tripod for steady viewing of distant subjects. It pairs with a tripod and other standard spotting scope support gear. In the box are the spotting scope, a neoprene cover, tethered objective lens cover, tethered ocular lens cover and a lens cloth.
