Description
The Sony Battery and Travel DC Charger Kit with NP-BX1 Battery is a compact power kit for select Cyber-shot and Action Cam models. It suits photographers and video users who want a spare battery and a simple way to charge on the go. The kit combines a charger, battery pack and USB cable in one set, so it covers both charging and backup power for travel or day trips.
It includes the BC-DCX DC charger and an NP-BX1 lithium-ion battery pack. The charger measures 1.41 x 2.75 x 0.5 inches (36.0 x 70.0 x 13.5 mm) and weighs 0.56 oz (16.0 g), so it is easy to pack. The NP-BX1 battery is a rechargeable lithium-ion type, which makes it suitable for use as a spare while another battery is charging.
In practice, this kit works as a travel charging solution for compatible Sony cameras. It pairs with select Cyber-shot and Action Cam models that use the NP-BX1 battery. The box includes the DC charger, NP-BX1 battery pack and USB cable. Compatibility is limited to select models, so it suits users who already rely on Sony devices that take this battery type.
