Description
The Sony a7 V is a full-frame mirrorless camera for photographers and hybrid shooters who want one body for stills and video. It suits users who want fast autofocus, in-body stabilisation and a camera that can handle everyday shooting, travel, portraits and content creation with an E-mount lens system.
It uses a 33 megapixel effective sensor with 7008 x 4672 resolution, a partially stacked full-frame CMOS design and 5-axis sensor-shift stabilisation. Autofocus uses 759-point phase detection with real-time tracking, AI subject recognition and auto framing. Video capture includes 4K 60p 10-bit recording, S-Log3 and S-Cinetone. Shutter options include mechanical and electronic rolling shutters, with electronic shutter speeds up to 1/16000 second.
In use, it works with Sony E-mount lenses and suits shooters who want a single camera for stills and movie work. It supports interval recording, bulb mode and common aspect ratios including 3:2 and 16:9. The box includes the camera body, NP-FZ100 battery, body cap, shoulder strap, accessory shoe cap and eyepiece cup.
