Description
The SmallRig 5030 Monitor Cage Kit is a cage and accessory kit for the Atomos Shinobi II. It suits users who want added protection for the monitor while keeping mounting points and cable management in one compact setup. It is built for field use where the screen, ports and accessories need to stay secure.
It measures 166.2 x 107.1 x 24.7mm and weighs 194.1 ± 5.0g. The cage uses aluminium alloy, stainless steel, silicone, glass and nylon. It has multiple built-in expansion interfaces and includes an HDMI and USB cable clamp to help secure connected cables. The kit also includes a sunhood and screen protector for use in bright conditions.
In use, the cage mounts around the Atomos Shinobi II and gives a base for adding other gear to the monitor rig. It is made for the Shinobi II and pairs with HDMI and USB connections on that monitor. In the box are the cage, HDMI and USB-CCable clamp, 1/4-20 screw, M3 screws, double head wrench, sunhood, screen protector, wet wipes, dry wipes and dust cover.
