Description
The Pelican 1060 Micro Case is a small hard case for carrying and protecting compact gear that needs secure everyday transport. It suits camera accessories, small electronics, cables or other items that benefit from a watertight, crushproof and dustproof case. The clear lid lets you see contents quickly, while the black body keeps the case low profile and easy to pack.
It measures 25.1 x 14.2 x 6.7 cm externally and 21 x 10.8 x 5.7 cm internally, with a lid depth of 1.8 cm and a bottom depth of 3.7 cm. The case weighs 0.5 kg and has a buoyancy rating of 1.1 kg. It uses a polycarbonate body, Xylex latch, thermoplastic rubber O-ring, stainless steel pins and stainless steel hardware. An automatic pressure equalisation valve helps balance interior pressure while keeping water out.
In practice, this case is used to store small items that need a firm shell and a sealed closure. The rubber liner doubles as an O-ring seal, and the easy open latch makes access straightforward.
