Description

The Manfrotto 037 Reversible Short Stud is a brass mounting stud for rigs that use a Super Clamp system. It suits photographers and lighting users who need a compact way to join clamps, heads, lights or other accessories with either 1/4-20 or 3/8-16 threads.

It has a 1/4-20 male thread on one side and a 3/8-16 male thread on the other, with a 5/8 inch hex stud for clamp use. The brass body measures 1.5 inches high and weighs 1.4 oz, so it stays small and light in a kit. It replaces part number 2907 and is made to fit the Super Clamp 035 socket.

In practice, it is used as the connection point between a Super Clamp and compatible gear such as a camera head or light mount. It is supplied as one reversible short stud, and the box includes the stud itself. Compatibility is centred on the Super Clamp system, while specific pairings depend on the thread size needed by your equipment.
