Description
The CHAUVET DJ Hurricane Haze 1DX is a water-based haze machine for stages, events and venues that need a thin, even haze to help lighting beams show up clearly. It suits users who want DMX control in a compact unit for small to medium rooms. It heats up quickly and is designed for straightforward operation in fixed or mobile setups.
It outputs up to 800 ft³ per minute and uses 4 mL of fluid per minute, with a 0.4 gal / 1.5 L tank. The heat-up time is 2 minutes. Control is via a LED display and four-button panel, with 1 DMX channel and 3-pin XLR input and output. Power is 120 VAC, 60 Hz, fixed, with 188 W consumption and a 5 A fuse.
In practice, this unit is used with CHAUVET DJ High Performance Haze Fluid (HFG). It can be hung using the included bracket and comes with a power cord. The compact size and 3.3 kg weight make it easier to place where space is limited, while the convection cooling suits quiet indoor use.
