Description
The Celestron T-Mount Adapter for Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes is a T-adapter for attaching a camera to a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope. It suits people who want to do prime focus photography with a 35mm SLR camera or a DSLR that uses a separate T-ring. It threads onto the telescope rear cell and gives a direct connection between the telescope and camera.
It fits Celestron and other Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes, including Celestron 5-inch to 14-inch models. The adapter has a 50 mm optical length and is made from sturdy metal. It is designed for use with a separate T-ring, which is required to match the camera body. Model number 93633-A identifies this part.
In use, the adapter threads onto the rear cell of the telescope, then pairs with a compatible T-ring to mount the camera. It is intended for prime focus imaging rather than visual use. The box contains the Celestron T-Mount Adapter for Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescopes.
