About Zeapon
Zeapon's Micro sliders use a double distance design that extends from both ends, so the Micro4 E1000 measures 62 cm collapsed yet gives 107 cm of travel. It carries up to about 12 kg horizontally and about 4.5 kg vertically or on an angle. The brushless motor runs up to roughly 18 cm per second and takes Sony L series batteries or USB PD power. The PONS PT combines two motorised pan heads with a tilt arm kit, carrying up to 50 kg horizontally and 4 kg on the tilt axis, at a rated 39 dB.
Buy the E1000 kit if you want slider, motor and pan and tilt heads in one package for interviews, product shots and time lapse. Choose the PONS PT alone if you already own a slider or want motorised pans on a tripod. The PONS heads accept NP-F550, F750 or F970 batteries or 5 V, 2 A power, and the Zeapon Lab app on iOS and Android controls orbit, waypoint and 360 degree panorama moves. The slider offers 1/4 inch 20 and 3/8 inch 16 threads for mounting.
Zeapon questions
How far does the Micro4 E1000 slide?
The Micro4 E1000 is 62 cm long when collapsed and gives 107 cm of travel, because the double distance design extends from both ends as the carriage moves. That makes it compact to carry for its travel distance.
What powers the PONS PT pan and tilt heads?
Each PONS head accepts Sony NP-F550, F750 or F970 batteries, with quoted runtimes from about 3 to 12 hours, or a 5 V, 2 A input. The Micro4 slider motor instead uses Sony L series batteries or USB PD power.
Can I control Zeapon gear from my phone?
Yes. The Zeapon Lab app for iOS and Android controls the PONS PT for orbit and waypoint moves and 360 degree panoramas. The Micro4 motor can also be set up with its integrated touchscreen and buttons.
