About Razer

The Naga V2 HyperSpeed pairs a Razer Focus Pro 30K optical sensor with Razer Mechanical Mouse Switches Gen-2, which Razer rates for 60 million clicks. It connects by Razer HyperSpeed Wireless on 2.4 GHz or by Bluetooth, and battery life is quoted at up to 250 hours on HyperSpeed and up to 400 hours on Bluetooth. It runs on a replaceable lithium or alkaline battery rather than a built-in rechargeable cell. The HyperScroll wheel switches between free-spin and tactile scrolling, and the side of the mouse carries the 12-button thumb grid.

Choose the Naga V2 HyperSpeed if you rely on keyboard shortcuts and want them under your thumb, such as MMO ability bars, editing software hotkeys or spreadsheet commands. Razer Synapse 3 software handles button remapping, and HyperShift lets you hold one button to give the other controls a second function, doubling the available inputs. Use the HyperSpeed dongle on a desktop PC and Bluetooth for a laptop or tablet when you want the longer quoted battery life. Keep spare lithium or alkaline batteries on hand, especially before a long gaming session or a busy working day.

Razer questions

Is the Razer Naga V2 HyperSpeed rechargeable?

No. It runs on a replaceable battery and works with lithium or alkaline types. Razer quotes up to 250 hours of use on HyperSpeed Wireless and up to 400 hours over Bluetooth, so keeping a spare battery in your desk drawer is enough for most users.

Can the Naga V2 HyperSpeed connect by Bluetooth?

Yes. It connects by Razer HyperSpeed Wireless through the 2.4 GHz dongle, or by Bluetooth. Razer quotes longer battery life on Bluetooth, up to 400 hours, compared with up to 250 hours when using HyperSpeed Wireless.

Can I customise the buttons on the Razer Naga V2 HyperSpeed?

Yes. Razer Synapse 3 software lets you remap the buttons, including the 12-button thumb grid. HyperShift adds a second layer of functions that becomes active while you hold a designated button, doubling the number of inputs available.
