About RailDriver

The RailDriver Desktop Train Cab Controller replaces keyboard shortcuts with physical levers for throttle, brake, reverser and switches, plus 34 programmable buttons. An integrated bass speaker adds vibration feedback while you drive. It connects as a USB HID device, so Windows recognises it as plug and play hardware. P.I. Engineering lists support for titles including Train Sim World, Train Sim Classic, Trainz, Open Rails, Run 8, Derail Valley, ZUSI 3 and World of Subways 2. The RailDriver Sticker Set is the same set of labels supplied with the controller, sold separately to replace worn or damaged stickers.

Before buying, check your platform. RailDriver runs on Windows PCs only; P.I. Engineering states it is currently unsupported on Mac and does not work with mobile games. Then confirm your simulator appears on the maker's compatibility list, since support is handled title by title and older programs such as Microsoft Train Sim are listed separately as legacy titles. The box contains the controller and a manual. Leave desk space for the unit and a free USB port on your PC. If the levers and buttons have lost their markings through heavy use, the Sticker Set restores the labels for the throttle, brake and switch controls.
