About Peak Design
The Slide uses internally padded nylon webbing with a smooth side that glides over clothing in sling mode and a grippy side that stops it slipping in shoulder mode. Dual quick-adjusters change the length on the move, from 99 cm to 145 cm, and the strap is 4.5 cm wide and weighs 148 g. The Anchor Link system connects with two points, which Peak Design says keeps the camera steadier than single-point sling straps, and each Anchor connector holds well over 90 kg. The box contains the Slide, four Anchors, an Anchor Mount, a 4 mm hex wrench and a microfibre pouch.
The Slide is the wider, padded option for heavier camera and lens combinations, and Peak Design points mirrorless owners to the Slide Lite. Anchors thread through standard strap loops, and the included Anchor Mount attaches to the bottom of the camera body for a second connection point. Because the four Anchors are included, you can fit Anchors to a second camera and move the strap between bodies. Check that your camera's strap lugs accept the Anchor cord before fitting.
