About PatrolEyes
The WiFi Pro records 1080p, 720p or 480p video at 30 fps through a 140 degree lens, with 6-axis electronic stabilisation, WDR and 32 MP still photos with a burst of up to 30 shots. An 850 nm automatic infrared system gives night vision up to about 32 feet. GPS coordinates are embedded in each video, files are protected with AES256 encryption, and each recording carries a password protected date, time and user ID stamp. Pre-event recording captures 30 seconds before you press record at 1080p, or 2 minutes at 720p and 480p.
Battery life is up to 12 hours at 1080p, 13 hours at 720p and 15 hours at 480p, or about 11 hours with WiFi and GPS on, from a built-in 3,200 mAh battery that charges in about 4 hours. The box includes a USB-C cable, wall charger, car USB charger, drop-in charging cradle, metal body clip and manual. The WiFi link lets a phone start and stop recording and view saved files. Note that the desktop management software runs on Windows PCs only and does not work with Mac computers. Check your workplace rules and local laws on recording before use.
PatrolEyes questions
Does the PatrolEyes WiFi Pro work with a Mac?
No. The camera's cam manager software, used to manage files and GPS maps on a computer, is listed as Windows PC only and does not work with Apple Mac computers. The WiFi connection to a smartphone is separate from this software.
How much video can the PatrolEyes WiFi Pro store?
It has 64 GB of built-in storage. The listed usage is about 5.2 GB per hour at 1080p, 3.6 GB per hour at 720p and 1.8 GB per hour at 480p, so lower resolutions allow more hours before offloading.
Is the PatrolEyes WiFi Pro waterproof?
It carries an IP67 dust and water rating and a listed working temperature range of minus 40 to 60 degrees Celsius. The camera weighs 141 g and measures 81.5 x 58 x 23.7 mm, and it attaches with the included metal body clip.
