Logitech's video conferencing range includes conference cameras and room systems such as the MeetUp ConferenceCam for small meeting spaces. Electronic Australia stocks the Logitech TV Mount for MeetUp, a bracket that holds the MeetUp camera above or below a flat-panel display using the screen's VESA mounting points, so the camera can be fitted without drilling into the wall.

About Logitech

The MeetUp is an all-in-one USB conference camera built for huddle rooms. It has a 4K Ultra HD camera with a 120 degree diagonal field of view and motorised pan and tilt, three beamforming microphones and a built-in speaker. Logitech recommends it for about six participants, or eight with the optional expansion microphone. It ships with an integrated table and wall mount. The TV Mount is a separate accessory for rooms where the camera should sit on the display itself, keeping the lens close to the faces on screen for more natural eye contact.

Logitech sells the mount in two sizes. The standard TV Mount, part number 939-001498, suits displays up to 55 inches; the TV Mount XL is for screens up to 90 inches. Check your screen size before ordering. The standard mount measures about 400 mm tall, 83 mm wide and 16 mm deep, weighs 280 g, and attaches through a VESA pattern with alternating 8 mm and 6 mm holes, so it fits most flat panels. It is designed for the MeetUp only. Mounting below the screen usually gives a more natural camera angle; mounting above suits displays set low on a cabinet.

Logitech questions

What size TV does the Logitech MeetUp TV Mount fit?

The standard TV Mount for MeetUp suits flat-panel displays up to 55 inches. For larger screens Logitech makes the TV Mount XL, rated for displays up to 90 inches. Both attach to standard VESA mounting points on the back of the screen.

Does the TV Mount work with other Logitech cameras?

No. Logitech lists the TV Mount for MeetUp as compatible with the MeetUp ConferenceCam only. Other Logitech conference cameras use their own mounting accessories, so check the model before ordering.

Should the MeetUp go above or below the screen?

The mount allows either position. Logitech notes that mounting the camera below the display usually gives a more natural video experience, while above the screen can suit displays that sit low on a cabinet or credenza.
